Kolkata Dharmayatra 2015

Pujya Gurudevshri graced the capital city of Kolkata (West Bengal) inspiring seekers to capitalise on this invaluable human birth and live with a higher purpose.

Mumukshus of Kolkata lovingly welcomed the Master through a series of dance dedications and a video voicing their gratitude towards the Sadguru for blessing them with ten unforgettable years of immense grace. Ashwinbhai-Rupaben Desai were the Master’s overjoyed hosts.

The crowning event of the Kolkata dharmayatra was the grand inauguration of the Kolkata Spiritual Centre. The spirit of joyousness and jubilance enveloped the city as devotees of all ages participated in the majestic shobhayatra. Kolkata came alive with the colours of divinity as four chariots bearing the hallowed pratimaji of Bhagwan Mahavira, three radiant chitrapats and the charankamal of Param Krupalu Dev as well as the sacred text, Shri Vachanamrutji made their way through the streets. Evoking supreme adoration, a chariot hosting Pujya Gurudevshri followed closely. Charged with devoutness, seekers danced in glee celebrating the virtuous event, while the ladies adorned the roads with gahulis and rangolis. Flowers were showered upon the procession and exultation reached a crescendo as aspirants arrived at the Centre. The name board was unveiled and with great reverence, Pujya Gurudevshri performed the pious pratishtha ceremony. Panels engraved with the verses of Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra and the three mantras were then unveiled. The Divine Shop, Library, Divinetouch classrooms, audio - video equipment’s and administrative offices were also inaugurated. The Master launched the official website for the Kolkata Spiritual Centre. Sevaks and donors instrumental in the fruition of this endeavour were felicitated. Exuding peace, the Spiritual Centre will serve as a perfect venue for seekers to revel in spiritual practices and seva activities, to further their inner quest. On this occasion 28 aspirants embraced ajivan brahmacharya vrat.

Through four captivating pravachans at the S.V. Social Welfare Foundation Hall, Pujya Gurudevshri emphasised the importance of love, faith and surrender towards a living Guru. Padhramanis at the residences of several seekers lifted their spirits, renewing their determination to march forward on the path of liberation. The homes of Kamlesh-Kalpana Mehta and Hareshbhai-Meenaben Vakharia were consecrated with enthralling pratishthas.

Pujya Gurudevshri visited the Shrimad Rajchandra Aatma Tatva Research Centre, Kolkata, where He had an enriching interaction with trustees and other representatives. The Master was guided through the centre and He venerated Param Krupalu Dev’s chitrapats with pujan.

Pujya Gurudevshri spent time with the Kolkata Satsang Group, imparting practical wisdom on the application of spirituality in their daily lives. Members of the Kolkata Youth Group had a special rendezvous with the Master where they created a setting of a local street of Kolkata with tunes of the Youth Group Orchestra enhancing the atmosphere. The Sadguru blessed them with bracelets (kadas) inscribed with the words ‘Samayam goyam ma pamayae’, - symbolising their commitment to live each moment of their lives aligned with His ajna. Having touched hundreds of lives, the Unmoved Mover, proceeded to Delhi to undertake yet another benevolent cause.
